Elmwood Park, NJ, USA; August 17, 2012 —The Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) is pleased to announce the CHA Creative Conference to be held October 3-4, 2012 at the Mississauga Convention Centre, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. The CHA Creative Conference is the fourth Canadian trade event hosted by CHA over the past year and a half and reinforces CHA’s commitment to the Canadian craft and creative industry. The CHA Creative Conference is open to all sectors of the craft industry and includes both domestic Canadian and international exhibitors, and attendees from across Canada.

The CHA Creative Conference is a two-day trade event designed to assist the needs of diverse Canadian craft and creative businesses as well as provide a much needed opportunity to network with peers in an intimate, relaxed environment. The CHA Creative Conference will include booth exhibits, order writing, business seminars by Retail Makeover Expert Barbara Crowhurst, a consumer awareness presentation by Andrej Suskavcevic, President and CEO, of the Craft & Hobby Association, as well as Canadian Industry Trends Panel and workshops.

“With an anticipated 40 exhibitors and 150 attendees, The CHA Creative Conference is great way to reinforce CHA’s very local commitment toward supporting the industry and our international Canadian membership,” explained Andrej Suskavcevic, President and CEO, the Craft & Hobby Association. “With Canadian momentum building over the past two years CHA is proud to host the CHA Creative Conference and to part of a growing legacy of regional events being held across Canada.”
